First Amendment Law Committee

The First Amendment Law Committee is the First Bar Committee to focus exclusively on the constitutional rights to Free Speech, Free Expression, Free Association, Free Assembly, Free Press and the Right to Privacy.

While other organizations tend to work within more mainstream areas of free speech such as politics, our committee dedicates 100% of our efforts to fighting for free speech when it comes to sexuality. This primarily includes lobbying for the adult entertainment industry including online and offline publications such as pornographic websites, dating sites and apps which promote casual encounters, and social media platforms that are geared towards a mature adult audience (18 years of age in most locations, 21 and up in some areas).

Our committee currently consists of six members, however, that list does expand from time to time. If you are an attorney who is interested in joining our cause, please get in touch with us today.

We work very closely with top adult industry organizations such as ASACP (Adult Sites Advocating Child Protection), as well as the RTA Label (also known as the Restricted to Adults Label). This is a voluntary label available to all website and content owners at no cost to help assist parental control software such as Net Nanny and Norton Family Premier filter out inappropriate content based on set age restrictions.

Los Angeles - (March 17, 2020) - ASACP (asacp.org) is a non-profit organization that works with the online adult entertainment industry to make a difference in the battle against child pornography.

 

ASACP is proud to present its 2020 Annual Service Recognition Award to First Amendment Attorney Lawrence G Walters Esq. in appreciation for his service to ASACP and his dedication to the good cause of the protection of children. This presentation was made during the XBiz Awards at the 2020 Internext Show in Las Vegas (Sahara Hotel & Casino), presented by Fuckbook Adult Social Network & PornHub

 

ASACP is a non profit association on the move with constrained assets. Larry saw the improvement ASACP was making in its strategic efforts and offered his administrations on a free premise to help manage ASACP during this basic development period. Most organizations would not have the advantage of such mastery. At the point when legitimate inquiries emerge or before we execute new services, we approach Larry for his advice. He is constantly accessible to us. We particularly value Larry's assistance, said Joan Irvine, official chief, ASACP. He will be presenting an update on Title 18, Section 2257, and the newly expanded federal labeling law at the Free Speech Coalition general meeting during the Adult Entertainment Expo on how it relates to new independent creator platforms such as OnlyFans and XXX Fans. He has also appeared on national television programs such as 48 Hours, 20/20, Fox Files, and The O`Reilly Factor.
